Educator Review of Behind the Brand

In this series, the reader learns about trendy brands seen by people everyday around the world. The books discuss how the brand was invented and how it grew to be famous. All of these books contain information that is very engaging and informative to readers of all ages and stages of life. These non-fiction books include numerous non-fiction text features to support the reader in understanding the important facts in the book. Some non-fiction text features included in each book are engaging photographs, a table of contents, labels, headings, graphs, bold-faced words, a chart, a timeline, a glossary, and an index. The interesting thing about all of these books is that the ‘brand’ was invented by ordinary people who just thought of something that hadn’t yet
been invented. It is very inspiring to read the stories of how one idea became such an important part of our everyday lives. These books allow the readers to be ‘dreamers’ of their own possible inventions to make our world a better place.
